I’m sure we’ve all heard the saying, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Apples are packed with health benefits and taste absolutely delicious. Making Apple Jam (Muraba Seb) is a great way to preserve apples and add a burst of flavor to your morning toast or whenever you’re craving something sweet, healthy, and fresh.
We make ours with just five simple ingredients: diced apples, sugar, cardamom, chopped almonds, and a splash of lemon juice. The cardamom gives the jam a wonderful flavor and aroma that pairs beautifully with the apples.
Serve it warm with some hot Sheer Chai Afghan (cardamom milk tea), and don’t forget to jar up the rest for later.
